istd logoJazzy J’s is a Dance Academy with classes for boys and girls of all ages, with classes currently running all over York – in Copmanthorpe, Bishopthorpe, Askham Bryan and Bilbrough, York.  We teach ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern as well as fun classes such as street dance and musical theatre.  We also run adult ballet, tap, yoga and street dance fitness classes.   Find out more about our dance classes or check out our term dates and timetable or contact us.

Jess Meredith – Jazzy J’s Dance Principal

Jess Meredith is Jazzy’s J’s dance principal.  Jess trained at the London College of Dance gaining a BA (Hons) in Dance alongside her ISTD qualifications and was awarded for her outstanding teaching practice.  Jess has worked in schools, colleges and dance academies around Yorkshire for more than a decade and in 2004 she established a flourishing dance department at Highfield Prep  School in Harrogate.  Jess launched Jazzy J’s Dance Academy in 2011 and since then our dance school has seen rapid growth.  Jess is also proud mum to her three daughters (who have all caught the dancing bug too!)

Our Timetable

We run classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in Bishopthorpe, Copmanthorpe, Askham Bryan and Bilbrough near York. Check out our timetable and term dates.
