Choreography Competition
What is it?
Students aged 6+ are invited to choreograph a dance routine (there are 3 categories solo, duet and group) with out any outside help, choose costumes (feel free to recycle old show costumes, use class uniform etc they do not need to be brand new or fancy!!), hairstyle, music and which style of dance they would like to do!! It can be anything they like – the only rule is it must not exceed the time limit (see below) or have any adult/outside help. The competition will be judged by an independent dance teacher that does not work for Jazzy J’s.
Please note that there will be no allocated time within normal classes for the competition and that practices are to organised by the children/parents.
